Talks & SHIZNIT

Our mission is to create meaningful & honest conversations about mental illness & mental health in an accessible manner. We've worked with biggidy corporate clients (Facebook, Arup, Jameson, OPW) universities, secondary schools and youth groups.
The cost is a donation of any amount to a mental health charity of your choice. contact@bpbwear.com

"We had Stephen in to speak to the creative team at Jameson about himself and BPB but also about the importance of mental health awareness. It was an incredible hour, hearing someone speak so openly really spurred on the rest of the team to open up about their own struggles which has brought us all closer together as a team. Could not recommend him more."

"As part of Mental Health week, we at Sky Ireland thought it would be great to have a guest speaker to come in to spark some authentic conversations amongst our staff.... The feedback from the event.. was nothing below phenomenal! The grit & honesty shone throughout and I know it helped some people at the event speak up about their own struggles. It’s openness like this that make me believe stigma is really being broken down. I’m looking forward to working with Stephen again in the future!"

Roisin Doyle, Service Team Manager, Sky Ireland

"Becoming aware of the fantastic and literally life-changing work by Stiofán and his colleagues, I invited him in to deliver a presentation to final year students studying on the BA (Hons) Communication Design course at NCAD. At this stage in the programme students need to write a proposal for their final degree project and the staff encourage them to use their creative skills to address issues which could be beneficial to society so I thought that Stiofán would be a perfect speaker to inspire them with this. Stiofán presented a wonderful visual slide show of his work and spoke with great insight, passion and humour, delivering even more than I had hoped for. The students gained enormously from his talk as he spoke constructively about his experience of setting up BiPolar Bear Wear; using imaginative problem-solving techniques; and dealing with other creatives, business networks and the general public. One of the students said that it was the best talk he had attended in four year’s of study! Stiofán’s personality along with his verbal and visual delivery will light up any room and I would recommend him wholeheartedly."
